Mother Rising
A Healing Gathering for Mothers Who Lost Their Homes in the Eaton Fire
Who is this for?
This gathering is for mothers who lost their homes in the Eaton Fire. If you are navigating the overwhelming intersection of grief, motherhood, and recovery—this space is for you.
Please note, if you are a mother in Los Angeles and lost your home last January, you are welcome in this space – regardless of which fire took your home.
The MotherWell Movement® honors and holds space for all who identify as mothers in their journey through matrescence.
Fall Up is a rooted in the consciousness that Life is the Ceremony. At Fall Up we support courageous hearted humans in growing through grief, awakening to their gifts, answering their callings, and embodying their missions.
What is it?
An intimate, sacred gathering on the one-year anniversary of the fires, where mothers can come together to honor all that has been lost and all that endures. This is a space to be witnessed, to grieve collectively, and to recognize the profound courage and strength it has taken to keep rising.
The intention:
To offer you space to tend to what needs tending in your heart. To connect you with other mothers who understand this particular and nuanced heartbreak. To create a container where your experience —in all its complexity—can be held and honored. To acknowledge our shared grief, trauma, and loss, celebrate the resilience, and support the alchemy of moving through this transformative loss together.
We gather to witness each other, to release what we've been carrying, and to honor the mothers we have become through the fire.
What to expect:
A three-hour journey of reflection, release, and re-connection:
Opening meditation, introductions, and intention setting
A guided, flower essence infused ceremony led by Jasmin including reflective writing followed by circle sharing
A ritual led by Bree to acknowledge and integrate all you have moved through
A collective flower blessing
Closing reflections and invitations
This intentional gathering will also include:
A sacred and communal altar space to honor what was lost
Time for authentic connection with other mothers who understand
Tea, nourishment, and moments to rest
Come as you are. There is no "right" way to grieve, and there is no pressure to perform or be anything other than present.
Our hope for you:
We hope you leave feeling a deep sense of solidarity — knowing you are not alone in this experience. We hope you feel truly seen by others and by yourself, recognizing the myriad ways life post-fire has shaped you. We hope this gathering offers space to tend to your heart, to release what you've been holding, and to breathe more deeply as you continue rising above the ashes.
